Global Etiquette

In the past decade, business has changed drastically. Not only is it being done faster than ever, but it is now truly a global market. “Global Etiquette” will help explain the differences between countries in the areas of: Making Appointments, Business Dress, Conversation, Addressing People, Gift Giving, Negotiating, Entertaining, and Public Behavior.

 
Debi holds an Associate Degree in math and computers from UW-S, as well as the CPS® and CAP® certifications. She was the 2001-2002 president of TwinCities West Chapter, and the 2004-2005 president for MN-ND-SD Division of IAAP®, which is made up of 20 chapters. Debi has extensive international meeting planning and travel experience.

The International Education Forum & Annual Meeting is IAAP’s premier event taking place during the summer with over 1800 attendees. This event offers more than 50 education workshops focusing on topics from management skills to leadership development. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the inner workings of the association by attending the business sessions that highlight the association leadership.
